The Resilient File System ReFS is already activated in the factory for this version of Windows. Once again, Windows 10 Pro Workstation is aimed at professional, particularly demanding users.
SMD Direct supports RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access). This allows built-in network cards to work with lower latency and a reduced CPU load. This is particularly helpful when larger amounts of data are outsourced to a connected network. For all users who handle large amounts of data and use special storage systems, this function in Windows 10 Pro Workstation should be a valuable addition. In general, hardware support from Microsoft is also being expanded. In the future, this will enable workstations with up to four separate CPUs to be used. This fact enables the user, for example, to use processors from Intel and AMD at the same time. In the end, the Windows 10 Pro Workstation operating system enables an immense number of cores, which would otherwise be used by servers.

The expanded hardware support will ensure increased performance and further new possibilities for the compilation of the hardware itself for particularly demanding users, since the restrictions of Windows 10 Professional no longer have to be taken into account.
